The college N.S.S. comprises of 100 students with the objective of motivating the students to participate in social responsibilities. The scheme is implemented by a programme officer. Students of under graduate classes are eligible for registering under the scheme. Students registering under the N.S.S. have to participate in its activities for two years for obtaining the N.S.S. Certificate. Two types of activities- regular activities and special camps are organised under the scheme. Only such students who put in 120 hours of social work every year under routine activities for two years and attend at least one special camp are eligible for receiving the N.S.S. certificate. The college has adopted BalmikiBasti. Cleanliness drive and awareness programmes are organised by the unit from time to time in the area.
